I'm Abrahm. I like photographing furry/feathery/scaly beings.
Most of my work is event photography, but not in its strictest sense. It's best described as a mix of portraiture and event work. I like photographing my subjects in the environment, but away from the distractions that typically permeate event settings.
I also do studio photography, primarily for scheduled photo sessions at events. I typically set up those photo sessions at the convention or event that I attend, and with my own lighting, support, and backdrop equipment.
Recently, my photography was featured in a video news report from Fox 2 Detroit. The report focuses on the charity work done by attendees of Motor City Furry Con, a furry convention in Novi, Michigan. The news article and corresponding video can be viewed at http://www.fox2detroit.com/news/local-news/248701211-story .
In 2014, my photography was published in the November edition (issue 209, page 322) of Ginza, a Japanese fashion magazine. In it, my images were used for a two-page article on different types of fursuits. More information on the publication can be found at the website, http://magazineworld.jp/ginza/ginza-209/.
My work was also featured in Alpha Chow, a short, infomercial-style television show that aired during the Adult Swim programming block on Cartoon Network. One of my images can be seen near the start of the show, and I am credited as "Abrahm" at the end. The video can be viewed at YouTube, at https://youtu.be/RFL5u1X5Dew, and the source is located at http://www.adultswim.com/videos/infomercials/alpha-chow/.
When I'm not shooting at conventions and events, I can be found at some of the zoos in the midwest. I regularly visit the Cleveland Zoo, Detroit Zoo, Brookfield Zoo, and Columbus Zoo. I also visit Wolf Park, in Battle Ground, Indiana, when I want to photograph the wolves, there.
